2026 CAMPS ARE OPEN TO CURRENT AND ALUMNI FAMILIES!

We will be offering “Friends and Neighbors” spots this year!  If you have a friend or neighbor that would like to come to Playschool camp you can refer them for $5 off camp tuition.  Make sure they put who referred them in their registration!

All campers must be between the ages of 4-10

Camps are $175 per week.  There is a sibling discount of $10 off

Payment can be made by cash, check to West Asheville Playschool-delivered to 65 Lees Creek Rd. or mailed to 109 Michigan Ave. Asheville, NC 28806 or venmo Louise-Miracle-1 (Please make a note on check or venmo payment as to which camps you are paying for.

All camps run Monday - Thursday 9:00am-1:00pm

Bring snack, lunch, a water bottle and extra clothes.  Sunscreen and bug spray will need to be applied before camp by parents.  You will receive an email with reminders and info one week before camp begins.  If you do not receive an email check in with Louise to make sure you are registered.

Let your imagination go wild!  Blocks, boxes, sticks and rocks are the foundation for a week of fun filled building adventures!  We will build indoor and outdoor forts and create cozy spaces for stuffed animals & tiny friends. Building challenges and cooperative construction will make for an exciting week! 

Ages 4-10  Taught by Erin, Samantha & Loren

Welcome all paleontologists and dinosaur impersonators to our first ever dino themed week of summer camp!  We will discover fossils, replicate eggs and nests, and get into the art and science of the Mesozoic Era.  Bring your dino knowledge and get ready to learn even more!

Ages 4-10.  This week will be taught by Samantha, Loren and Adena 

Playschool annual tradition……everything messy!  Using our senses to explore smelly, mushy, sparkly, popping and tasty experiences this week!  Art projects, cooking and sensory play engage your senses and allow for lots of laughter and antics.

July 20-24  Magical Mermaids and Garden Gnomes Camp

A week of water play and gardening.  We will explore the magical world of mermaids with water based art and lots of water play.  Gnomes are a favorite at Playschool and we will learn about these sneaky creatures with fun gardening projects and some gnome making. 

Ages 4-10.  This week will be taught by Erin, Loren and Adena

Shake your groove thing!  From orchestras to bucket bands, we will enjoy the magic of music around us and around the world.  Part of this exploration will lead us down paths of dance like hip hop, swing, square and more!  Singing!  Dancing!  Making merry and fun!

The circus returns to West Asheville Playschool! Your kids don’t have to run away from home to join the circus. This week we will explore the many skills that will allow you to find your inner circus performer.  Hooping, clowning, juggling, walking the tightrope and partner tricks will be taught in a week packed with big top excitement! Lion taming optional.

Ages 4-10.  This week will be taught by Erin, Loren and Samantha

Do you love kittens and puppies as much as we do? Then this is the camp for you! We will make cat and dog art, train our plushie pets, get into character and play cat and dog all day long!
